Video storytelling has become a “check-the-box” medium. We do it because we can or because we think we have to, but we never ask if we should.*
We’re drowning in content, particularly video content, much of it drenched in sameness and devoid of creativity. We scroll dumbly through our timelines, waiting for something to inspire us. Instead of watching, enjoying and sharing videos with one another, we become blind to it all. It becomes digital noise.
*And yes, the idea of that line was inspired by Jurassic Park.
